I go through stages with my photography and set myself challenges so I keep on growing and improving. Lately I've been experimenting with shooting directly into the sun. It is quite difficult in that it's hard to see and challenging to focus. I am loving the results though.
I'm beginning to think that it's not a Vicki James session if it doesn't have a bit of (sun) flare!!

I think the inclusion of the lens flare adds an interesting element to the shot, and I congratulate you on having done so well shooting into the light. I also like the naturalness of this image very much.

you are right, flair can get really tricky. You did so well with it.
